THE PROBLEM
PropVerse founders are some of the world’s best data scientists who have achieved top places in multiple Kaggle competitions. Some time after completing a famous Zillow competition on Kaggle, they decided to create a first open and global real estate marketplace and needed a reliable technology partner to develop and host a scalable infrastructure.
PropVerse engaged Egham to develop all the software needed for such a vision as well as to create the actual hosting infrastructure capable of handling millions of users and billions of properties.
THE SOLUTION
Egham have been working with PropVerse to develop a bespoke system since 2019. Having analyzed their requirements, we suggested the best architecture for a modern and scalable system and worked with PropVerse founders to specify and then develop a successful and comprehensive solution to their business requirements.
The online portal has been developed using NodeJS server-side services with MySQL, Elastic, S3 backend and Python based AI/ML services.
A hybrid virtualised infrastructure has been created combining dedicated hardware servers with AWS, Azure and Google services in order to achieve the best possible performance, scalability and security.
THE RESULT
PropVerse.net online portal is a 24 hour global marketplace, serving thousands of daily users with AI based search, valuations, chat and key facts about millions of real houses and apartments.
